RF Monitaring Service"PromBee"
A subscription service that watches terrestrial digital RF interference.
Errestrial digital broadcasting that delivers regional information to a vast area.
In Japan, where there are many natural disasters, terrestrial digital broadcasting is a valuable source of information on the current situation.
Considering such a role, it is important to constantly check the radio wave reception status in each region.
We provide "Terrestrial digital RF monitoring service PromBee" as a system that can be realistically operated with limited human resources and budget.
PromBee is a system for monitoring RF reception points via the Internet by installing PromBee Probe, an IoT device for RF monitoring, in multiple reception areas.
We provide PromBee as a subscription service that allows you to make a contract for use on a per-device and per-month basis. PromBee Probe can be used from the day you receive it, just by connecting it to the antenna and the Internet, without the troublesome system constructions.
SFN (Single Frequency Network), which realizes broadcasting in a small number of frequency bands, is becoming more and more important for effective use of radio wave resources.
The example example below, in which reception interference occurs only in some areas, is what actually inspired the evelopment of this system. We believe that PromBee is also effective in discovering such failures.

Grasp the situation with graphs

You can check three graphs: reception level (blue), CNR(green), and BER (orange).
The example above is a graph for the past two years, and the reception level fluctuates according to the season. In this example, fading phenomenon is suspected.
The example below is a two-day graph.
In this graph, CNR and BER are significantly degraded even though the received level has not changed much. In this example, SFN out-of-sync is suspected.
